PROFILES

I was born November 29, 1962 in Newburgh, NY to Frank and Betty, the middle child of 3.  Since the age of 4 ( that's as far back as I can remember) I always dreamed of being a singer.    For many years I suffered from panic and anxiety disorder, during that time I took an online course in journalism, that is when I discovered I could write things and I could release some of the anxiety.   At first I started writing poetry and as my confidence grew so did my passion and ability to create music.   Still I had another hurdle to jump, I had to go out and sing in front of people.  I was working as a waitress when I was invited to go to a karaoke bar, I excepted the invite and went.  When it was my turn, I got up with legs shaking and went to the mic, to my surprise and joy as soon as the music started I never felt more at home.  I belted out Black Velvet and I was a big hit, for the first time in my life I felt free.  Then my journey into becoming a singer/songwriter really took root.
I had been with several bands before I met Scott, not only did we start making music together we had that special connection musically, he knows my style and I know his.
When you write a song you should write what you know about.  That is the philosophy I follow when I create music.
If I can fulfill even just part of my dreams, than anyone can.  It may take some time but dreams do come true.

I was born September 21, 1969 and raised in a suburb of Detroit, MI.  I took to music at an early age, I taught myself how to play the bass and by age 14 I was playing bass guitar in a garage band, playing cover tunes.  After a few years of playing cover songs I knew I wanted to write my own music.
I decided to teach myself to play guitar so I could finally share with everyone the music I was hearing.  As I continued to play bass in other local bands, I practiced with my guitar.  As my guitar playing improved I began to record and saved my melodies.   Then one day, out of the blue, I met Lori.  I heard her sing one song and I knew that was the voice my music needed.
So with an angel on my shoulder and the will to succeed the time is finally here to share my musical vision with the world.
